Webtip: Jeremy Clarksons column op TimesOnline
Iedereen kent Jeremy Clarkson uit het befaamde autoprogramma Top Gear, maar wist je dat de man ook een behoorlijk stukje kan schrijven? Op Times Online pent hij op regelmatige basis zijn gedachten neer in een column, wat meer dan eens resulteert in hyperbolische tirades waarbij zelfs zijn straffe uitspraken op tv verbleken. Heerlijk ongenuanceerd leesvoer dus van the most opinionated man… in the world. Hieronder alvast enkele uittreksels.
(Over de Volkswagen Jetta) “I’d love to meet the man who styled the exterior, to find out if he’d done it as some sort of a joke. But mostly I’d like to meet the man who simply didn’t bother at all with the interior. Because looking at that dashboard gives you some idea of what it might be like to be dead.”
